July 13, 2006. CJA will not be participating in the Scottish Fair in Minnesota this weekend. There is a heat advisory out. Temperatures are expected to be near or at 100 degrees on Saturday with high humidity. Minnesota State Commissioner Dee Johnston has sent a message to members and contacts informing them of her decision not to participate. We are supportive of the decision as we have members who have health issues and are elderly. We don't want to put their health in jeopardy. We would not have been able to attend ourselves because of the heat.
