Scholarships are offered by Clan Johnston/e in America to assist those studying Scottish arts and academics. All branches of music, dancing, athletics and studies are eligible areas of study. The Scholarship Committee will be guided by the applicant's need, objectives, commitment, demonstrated proficiency, anticipated development and goals when granting awards.
Scholarships are intended to support special, one-time or unique activities such as participating in short workshops, traveling to competitions out of your home area or attending music camps. Therefore requests for support in routine matters such as individual lessons, purchase of clothing and equipment or travel to local events will not be considered.
Recommendation by a current teacher, advisor or sponsor is required. No application will be considered without such a recommendation.
